Ẹni tí kò mọ́ ìtàn kò lè da’ṣà

One who does not know history cannot understand culture.

The J.Randle Centre is dedicated to being a leading resource for Yorùbá language and Yorùbá studies, providing a robust archive for the research and preservation of Yorùbá history, spirituality, customs, and philosophies. Collaborations with historians, artists, collectors, cultural experts, and universities will enable the centre to maintain an extensive archive of Yorùbá artefacts, oral histories, and academic resources.

This research commitment allows the centre to not only preserve Yorùbá culture but to continuously deepen its understanding and share these findings widely through various publications, products development and productions, connecting Yorùbá heritage to other cultures, as well as artistic and scholarly fields.
